Service Description

Assistance with transport can be provided either directly or indirectly. Direct transport services are those where the ride in the vehicle is provided by a worker or a volunteer. Indirect transport services include rides provided through vouchers or subsidies. The carers of older people accessing CHSP transport services may accompany those clients when using those services where required. DIRECT TRANSPORT SERVICES Fees: $2.50 per one way trip. Fee is conditional to a maximum of 10km per one-way trip. Any extra kilometers will be charged at the rate of $0.85 per km. INDIRECT TRANSPORT SERVICES Fees: $2.50 per one way trip. Fee is conditional to maximum of 10km per one-way trip. Clients will be subject to paying the difference of any extra kilometres travelled. TRANSPORT BUNDLES - Group Social Support, Transport, and Meal at Centre. Fees: $15. - Return bus trip. Fees: $5. - Individual Social Support with return trip. Fees: $10 per hour. Minimum 1 hour.
